Do I need to prepare any additional items, so my child can participate in VBS?

We have a limited number of VBS kits that contain all the items needed for VBS. If you registered before July 15th, you were guaranteed a VBS kit. If you registered after July 15th, then we will provide full or partial VBS kits depending on what we have available. After registering for VBS, we will contact you regarding what supplies we can give you and arrange for delivery/pick-up of those items.

• VBS Songs and Dances:

  • Lyric Video YouTube Playlist

  • Dance Video YouTube Playlist

    • Please practice the dances with your child throughout the month of August, as we do not have time to teach the dances during the VBS Zoom meeting.
      

• Parent Information Packet:

  • VBS Introduction Letter

  • SonSurf Beach Bash VBS Course Overview

  • List of church programs for everyone in the family
    

• Age-appropriate activity workbook

  • This will be mailed to you.
    

• Graduation Certificate

  • This will be mailed to you in time for our graduation ceremony on August 30th.

Limited Quantity Items:

Many of the limited quantity items are common household goods, so it should be easy to recreate a kit.

• Snack Kit:

  • All the ingredients used for the Snack time are provided in the Snack Kit.

  • You will need to provide plates and utensils.

  • For a detailed list of both the items in the Snack Kit and those that you will need to provide, please visit our Snack Page.
    

• Craft Kit:

  • Craft explanation letter

    • For more information about VBS Crafts, please visit our Craft page.

  • You will need to supply common crafting items for your child (e.g. glue, scissors, etc.).

  • Craft Supplies in Kit:

    • Origami paper

    • Craft sticks

    • Pipe cleaners

    • Strips of yarn

    • Assorted shells

    • 5 paper plates

    • 1 paper cup
