Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:5-6)
This prayer by the Apostle Paul for the Christian community in Rome will be the focal point for this Sunday's worship service message. Last Sunday, we started our current message series titled “Being the Church”. We began by looking at our individual and collective responsibility to be Jesus’ witnesses to the world. This Sunday, we look at the importance of coming together to worship God as a church. Given our current circumstances, we truly need God's perseverance and encouragement. Let us pray that we can come together to worship God with one accord and with one voice to glorify God.
