All of us are created with an innate desire to worship. We live for something or someone. We offer up our lives in worship to something or someone. However, many people do not know what to worship, and worship all kinds of things. Whatever you value above all else and give your full attention to, will become what you worship. For some, it will be their work. For some, it will be their hobby. For some, it may even be their ministry. For many, it will be themself. Who doesn’t want to value and give attention to themself? However, for us, who seek to come together to worship God every Sunday, we desire to worship God, who is our Creator, Savior, and Lord.
私たちは皆、生まれながらにして礼拝をしたいという欲求を持って造られています。私たちは、何かのために、あるいは誰かのために生きています。 私たちは自分の人生を何か、あるいは誰かへの礼拝に捧げます。しかし、多くの人は何を拝めばいいのかわからず、いろいろなものを拝んでしまう。あなたが何よりも大切にし、全力を注いだものが、あなたが礼拝するものになるのです。ある人は、それが仕事であり。 ある人は、それが趣味であります。ある人は、それが自分のミニストリーであるかもしれません。多くの人にとって、それは自分自身であります。自分自身を大切にし、顧みようと思わない人はいないでしょう。しかし、毎週日曜日に集まって神様を礼拝しようとする私たちにとって、創造主であり、救い主であり、主である神を礼拝することが望みであります。
