WANTED: PEACEMAKERS! by Pastor Ichibei Honda
We have been studying the Beatitudes together in our Sunday worship services. In the progression of the Beatitudes, we are moving more and more from inward character transformation to outward application and practice. There is a greater depth in relationship to God that is found with each progression of the Beatitudes. In this Sunday's message, we will be looking together at the second to the last of the Beatitudes: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Such peacemakers follow in the footsteps of Jesus who is the ultimate Peacemaker. So, what do peacemakers look like and what do they do?
私たちは、日曜礼拝で一緒に「八つのさいわい」を学んできました。八つのさいわいにおいて、私達は内面的な人格の変革から外面的な適用と実践へとますます移行しています。八つのさいわいが進むごとに、神との関係には、より深い深みが見出されます。この日曜日のメッセージでは、さいわいの２番目から最後のものを一緒に見ます：「平和をつくり出す人たちは、さいわいである、彼らは神の子と呼ばれるであろう」。平和をつくり出す人たちは、究極の平和をつくり出す人であるイエス様の足跡をたどるのです。では、平和をつくり出す人たちはどのような人であり、彼らは何をするのでしょうか。
