Messiah: The Humble Servant by Pastor Ichibei Honda
The theme for the third Sunday of Advent is joy. Indeed, joy accompanies the coming of Jesus Christ. However, in order to fully experience and appreciate that joy, it is helpful to understand the humble manner in which Jesus Christ came into this world. Thus, we will be looking together at Isaiah 53:1-3, and then consider the joy that we have in believing in and accepting Jesus as the promised humble Messiah (Christ).
アドベント第三日曜日のテーマは喜びです。実際にイエス・キリストの到来には喜びが伴います。しかし、その喜びを十分に経験し、理解するためには、イエス・キリストがこの世に来られたときのへりくだった僕としての姿を理解することは有益であります。そこで、イザヤ書５３章１節～３節を一緒に見て、イエスを約束されたへりくだったメシア（キリスト）として信じ、受け入れる喜びについて考えてみます。
