Happy New Year! And Happy New Day! Many of us may be happy in having received “new” things at Christmas time. I appreciate good hand me downs and functional used items, but new things are a blessing. We look forward to a new year. The Bible reminds us that God’s lovingkindness and compassion for us are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). The Bible calls a Christian, a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17), and that they walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4). I want to share three things using the word “NEW”. I want to talk about having a “Happy NEW Day” every day in 2023.
ハッピー・ニュー・イヤー！そして、ハッピー・ニュー・デー！クリスマスに「新しい」ものをもらったことで喜んでいる人も多いのではないでしょうか。良いお下がりや機能的な中古品もありがたいですが、新しいものは祝福です。新しい年を楽しみにしています。聖書は、私たちに対する神のいつくしみとあわれみは、朝ごとに新しいこと（哀歌３章２２～２３節）を思い起こさせます。聖書は、クリスチャンを「新しく造られた者」（コリント第二５章１７節）と呼び、彼らは「新しいいのちに生きる」（ローマ６章４節）ことを書いています。「NEW」という言葉を使って、３つのことをシェアーしたいと思います。２０２３年には、毎日「Happy NEW Day」を過ごそうという話をしたいです。
