A Church Pleasing to God (16): Revolves Around Jesus by Pastor Ichibei Honda
Have you ever felt overwhelmed and feeling just behind schedule? Have you had times when all kinds of things are on your mind? In such times, we need to be reminded that God has the whole world in His hands, and yield and entrust everything into His hands. We need to remember that God is in control. He is sovereign, but we need to learn to submit to Him. We need to learn to let go of things that we hold on to tightly and yield them into God’s hands. Likewise, even though in Matthew 28:18-20, we are told that all authority has been given to Jesus, unless we yield to His authority, and submit ourselves before Him, the next step cannot be taken. It all begins by submitting to the authority of Jesus Christ, because as a church, everything revolves around Him.
気が重く、ただただ予定が遅れているように感じたことがありますか？頭の中が色々なことでいっぱいになったことがありますか？そのような時に、神様は全世界をその御手におさめていることを思い出し、その御手に全てを委ねることが必要であります。主がコントロールを持っていることを覚える必要があります。主は主権者ですが、私達は服従することを学ばなければなりません。私達は自分が強く握りしめているものを手放し、神の御手に委ねることを学ぶ必要があります。同じように、マタイ書２８章１８～２０節に、いっさいの権威がイエス様に授けられていると書かれていますが、イエス様の権威にゆだねなければ、イエス様の前で服従しない限り、次のステップには踏み出せません。全てはイエス・キリストの権威に服従にすることから始まるのです。なぜなら、教会の全てはイエス様を中心に展開しているからです。
