『イエス・キリスト、正しく、あわれみ深い審判者』

Jesus Christ, The Righteous and Merciful Judge by Pastor Ichibei Honda
“I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.” (2 Timothy 4:1-2) As mentioned in this Scripture passage, we believe in and proclaim as part of the Apostles’ Creed: “and He will come to judge the living and the dead”. We will be finishing up the “I believe in Jesus Christ” portion of the Apostles’ Creed by looking specifically at Jesus being the righteous and merciful Judge who judges the living and the dead.
「神のみまえと、生きている者と死んだ者とをさばくべきキリスト・イエスのみまえで、キリストの出現とその御国とを思い、おごそかに命じる。御言を宣べ伝えなさい。時が良くても悪くても、それを励み、あくまでも寛容な心でよく教えて、責め、戒め、勧めなさい。」（テモテ第二の手紙４章１節—２節）この聖書箇所に述べてあるように、使徒信条の一部として、「かしこより来たりて、生ける者と死にたる者とを裁きたまわん」と私たちは信じ、宣言します。イエス様が生ける者と死にたる者を裁く、正しく、あわれみ深い審判者であることを具体的に見ることで、使徒信条の「我らの主イエス・キリストを信ず」の部分を終えます。
