“Through Jesus We Have Received Grace Upon Grace”

For this message, we will look at John 1:14-18. In this passage of Scripture, we are shown how through Jesus we have all received, grace upon grace, contrasting the grace and truth realized through Jesus Christ with the Law that was given through Moses. Indeed, God’s grace is wonderful and amazing! However, we cannot fully appreciate how wonderful and amazing living in and by God’s grace is without knowing its alternative way of living. We will consider these things in this message.
このメッセージでは、ヨハネの福音書1章14節から18節を取り上げます。この聖書箇所では、イエス様を通して私たちが皆、「恵みの上に恵み」を受けていることを示しおり、イエス・キリストによって実現された恵みと真理が、モーセを通して与えられた律法と対比されています。確かに、神様の恵みは素晴らしく、驚くべきものです！しかし、神様の恵みの中で、そして神様の恵みによって生きるということがどれほど素晴らしく、驚くべきことであるかは、神様の恵みによる生き方とは対照的な生き方を知らなければ十分に理解することはできません。このメッセージでは、これらのことについて考えていきます。
