The Gospel According to Luke: Kingdom Living - Living Responsibly

Date: Sunday, October 18, 2020

Series Description:

The book called Luke in the Bible, was written by a Gentile believer named Luke, who was a close associate of the Apostle Paul. He set out to carefully investigate the truth concerning Jesus Christ, using the eyewitness accounts of those who were with and knew Jesus and His ministry. His intent in writing this Gospel was so that his readers would know the truth regarding Jesus and what they have been taught concerning Him. It is our hope in studying this Gospel, that we too would better understand the truth concerning Jesus, so that we may better know Him and make Him known to others.

Sermon Description:

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would obey you.” (Luke 17:5-6)

The verses above are part of the Scripture passage (Luke 17:1-10) for the online worship service message for this Sunday, October 25.  For the worship service, we are blessed to have John Alvarado as our guest speaker.   As many of you know, John has faithfully served with Hume Lake Christian Camps, and speaks for different Hume programs and runs some of their offsite camps.  He also directs a ministry in Mexico called Reflect Ministries.  Please prayerfully prepare to receive the message that God will speak to us through John, as he teaches us from Gods Word.
