Being the Church: We Come Together in Fellowship

Date: Sunday, April 25, 2021

Series Description:

Discovering together how to be the church by the power of the Holy Spirit, growing up to the bridegroom of the church who is Jesus, all to the glory of the Father.

Sermon Description:

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:23-25)

We are exhorted to hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. We can hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, because our hope; truth of Jesus’ perfect and finished work of salvation, is based on His faithfulness. All the promises of God are secure, because God is faithful! This Sunday being the OMS Holiness Church of North America's (our denomination's) Founder's Day, and also the 100th anniversary year, we can truly attest to the fact that God is faithful. Thus, let us faithfully encourage one another by coming together to worship God and fellowship in Christ.

This Sunday's message title is "We Come Together to Fellowship", and the Scripture passage is Hebrews 10:23-25. Let us prayerfully watch the online worship service, lifting praises to God with those in our households, and actively listening to the message. May God be glorified through our time of worship!
