『わたしたちに負債のある者をゆるしましたように』本多一米師
As We Also Have Forgiven Our Debtors by Pastor Ichibei Honda
“For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.” (Matthew 6:14-15) These are Jesus’ words to His disciples and come immediately after the Lord’s Prayer. A couple weeks ago, we looked together at Matthew 6:12 where it says, ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.’ At that time, we focused on God’s forgiveness of our sins. For this message, we will focus on our calling to forgive others. Indeed, God’s forgiveness of our sins should be the basis for our ability and willingness to freely forgive others.
「もしも、あなたがたが、人々のあやまちをゆるすならば、あなたがたの天の父も、あなたがたをゆるして下さるであろう。もし人をゆるさないならば、あなたがたの父も、あなたがたのあやまちをゆるして下さらないであろう」。（マタイ６章１４節—１５節）これは、弟子達に対するイエス様の言葉であり、主の祈りの直後にあります。二週間前、私達はマタイ６章１２節にある、「わたしたちに負債のある者をゆるしましたように、わたしたちの負債をもおゆるしください。」と言う聖句を一緒に見ました。その時には、神様が私たちの罪を赦されることに焦点を合わせました。このメッセージでは、他者を赦す私たちの召しに焦点を合わせます。実に、神様が私達の罪を赦してくださったことが、私達が他者を自由に赦す能力と意欲の土台となるべきなのです。
