Growth Comes from Being Healthy: How We Exercise

Series Description:

Our new message series is "Growth Comes From Being Healthy." We will be looking at what it means to be healthy in all aspects of our life: beginning with our faith and relationship with God, our spiritual health, and then with our physical, mental, emotional, and relational well-being. The starting point for this study is to understand and acknowledge our current state of health, and then to desire and work toward change for the better. May we seek the Lord together in being healthy and fruitful people!

Sermon Description:

Last Sunday, we talked about why we should exercise, and we ended by talking about how challenges make us grow. Today, we want to look at how we are to exercise. Spiritual exercise is sharing the Gospel with other people; being witnesses of Christ and His love. Just as Jesus went out to meet people and to share His love with them, we are to do so as well. In physical terms, we should exercise, so that we might be fit to carry on the work that God has called us to accomplish, and we want to do this with diligence.
