I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, Our Lord by Pastor Ichibei Honda
Starting today, we will begin looking at the second section of The Apostles’ Creed which has to do with who we know and understand to be Jesus Christ. It is also the longest part of The Apostles’ Creed. We will look at this section by breaking it down into 7 segments: Jesus as the Son of God, His birth, His suffering and crucifixion, His resurrection from the dead, His ascension into Heaven, His return, and His judgment. So, today, we will focus on the faith statement: “I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, Our Lord”. And by affirming these things concerning Jesus Christ, we should be filled with praise for and gratitude to Him for His work of saving us.
今日から、私達がイエス・キリストであると知り、理解するお方に関係する、使徒信条の二つ目のセクションを見て参ります。またこれは、使徒信条の中で最も長い部分です。私達はこの部分を七つに分けて見ていきます：神の子としてのイエス、イエスの誕生、イエスの受難と十字架刑、死からの復活、天への昇天、イエスの再臨、そしてイエスの裁きです。そこで今日は、次の信仰宣言に焦点を当てます：「我はそのひとり子、我らの主、イエス・キリストを信ず」。そして、イエス・キリストに関するこれらのことを断言することによって、私たちを救ってくださったイエス・キリストへの賛美と感謝で満たされるはずです。
