“Pontius Pilate: What is Truth?”

Last Sunday, Pastor Okura talked about Annas and Caiphas, who were the high priests during the time of Jesus’ public ministry. And as he pointed out, also Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea during that time. These three were connected with each other in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. For this message, we will focus on Pilate, and learn from him of how we are to properly understand and relate to Jesus Christ. In order to do this, we will look at Pilate’s interaction with Jesus during His trial, and focus on the question that was posed by Pilate during the trial, which was “What is truth?”
先週の日曜日、大倉牧師はイエス様の公生涯の時代に大祭司を務めたアンナスとカイヤパについて語りました。また彼が指摘したように、その時代にはポンテオ・ピラトがユダヤの総督でした。この三人はイエス・キリストの十字架刑において互いに関連していました。このメッセージでは、ピラトに焦点を当てて、私たちがイエス・キリストを正しく理解し、関わるべき方法を彼から学びたいと思います。そのために、私たちはピラトが裁判中にイエス様と交わしたやり取りに注目し、特にピラトが裁判中に投げかけた質問「真理とは何か」に焦点を当てます。
